TLDR; Extreme Ownership

TLDR; gives you an opportunity to narrow down your reading list in the ICS / OT environment. I hope you have a chance to read this series regardless of your background. This series comes from a management consultant with front line field experience.
Extreme Ownership has three primary books: Extreme Ownership, The Dichotomies of Leadership and Top Gun. I understand a new book has been published on strategies and tactics for leadership. This review will cover the first book. The second is even better- so definitely give that a go after reading the first one!!!
Each chapter follows the same format: a lesson learned on the battlefields of Iraq and then a demonstration of it in the corporate world. As a civilian, the first half of each chapter is odd. However, the lessons are excellent- very applicable, easily digestible and solidly reasonable. I would argue the book would be more accurate if it were called "Very Reasonable Amounts of Personal Responsibility," but that does not roll of the tongue as well.
My management is heavily pushing this series and I would recommend them to anyone. If you are unsure, get it from the library!
